Waiting for Spring

New Bedford Half-Marathon is here again. St Patrick’s day is here, meaning springtime is around the corner. Oh, I just can’t wait to see smell the scent of blooming flowers filling the air by the end of the month, like the wonderful scent of honeysuckle. It’s my favorite time of the year. And when it finally here, should I shout: Alhamdulillah loud and clear that we finally survived those long, dark, and cold winter days? I guess not, at least until Papa Ara submit his first paper and got it published in one of those marine science kinda journal, I will…well, not shouting, but more to Alhamdulilllaaaaaaahhhhh.-kind-of-relief.

Waiting for Spring, when everything comes alive and winter blues are lifted as we see all the new life. Waiting for Spring, and seeing butterflies flutter by. It won’t be too long now as time seems to fly.Waiting for Spring, it is almost here, when everything seems new. Yes, Spring is very near – (Beverly J)
