Attending playgroup is critical for a stay-at-home-mom like me; It is not good only for the kids to socialize with their peers, as it is intended to the caregivers too- so they can interact and stay sane by sharing some of the crazy and good stuffs about their live with little ones :). If you are a parent and living in New Bedford, here I share some of good playgroups that me and the kids routinely come – for winter to spring 2013 (when it is too cold to play at the parks and beaches). These playgroups are great for < 5 years old:

1. Tuesdays at 10 AM starting Jan. 15, 2013  through May 14, 2013. Mother Goose on the Loose: Join Children’s Librarian Katie Redfearn for a literature based program for parents and children to age 2 featuring puppets, song and more! at Southworth Public Library, Dartmouth. Other programs: Baby Songs every Wednesday at 10AM up to age 3 and Pre-School Story Time: Friday 11AM for children ages 3 to 5 yrs.

PicMonkey Collage2. Wednesdays at 10 AM to 12 PM until end of May. Play and Learn – free play, arts, crafts, and stories at PACE Family Center – Hayden McFaden School, 361 Cedar Grove St, Door K, New Bedford.
