Let It Snow

I have a long things-to-do list for our family this December: skiing, going to Boston to feel the Christmasty atmosphere, celebrate the New Year Eve in Times Square NYC, watching Mylo Xyloto concert in Mohegan Sun Connecticut, etc…etc.. But sometimes (most of the times) the plans don’t go along well with Papa Ara’s academic condition – yes, December is a deadline month for exam,  paper and research.  So he’s been so busy this entire month, coming home a bit late (8 PM in winter time is way too late for us), working at home til morning, …and now he hasn’t been feeling well for the last three days, got a little cold and fever. Poor Papa… *wish I could help him with his work, somehow*

So we stayed at home, we left papa to have some good rest and work by himself in his “office” room, baked some homemade salmon spinach pizzas, banana bread, and chocolate cookies, and went outside a little while, just forget about the lists, and enjoy today’s beautiful winter wonderland.

The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found? – J. B. Priestley
