If you’re visiting Cambridge, Massachusetts make sure to have a look (and shopping, dining, hanging out, people watching, etc) in this very cool-sophisticated area the Harvard Square; a home to Harvard University -arguably the hardest college to get into in the U.S. How to get there? If you go by the T (Boston’s Subway System), just use the Red Line and find “Harvard Sq” which will directly get you into this area.
Ideas while in there:
Touch the shoes of John Harvard statue – which has the myth if you touch it then you can be accepted to be a student at Harvard (yeah I know, lame! Just for fun)
Try the best ice-cream, burgers, desserts, even Chinese restaurant in the area ( just follow where the people go)
Dive in to Harvard Book Store
Buy Harvard souvenirs (the famous gray with maroon font tee)
Sit and relax inside the home to many of the most well-respected graduate schools
