The NYC and WDC trip gave me some lessons, one of the lesson is: bring your kid to meet people regularly. By regularly, I mean at least once a week so he (Azka) will soon feel comfortable enough to be surrounded by ‘strangers, in other words: he can be a social person.
So, every Saturday when we (me and Ara) usually woke at 10 AM and being a couch potato, starting on February we woke earlier and going out to library to attend storytelling and crafting class at New Bedford Free Public Library.
It was a very good idea! Azka met some babies at his age and interact with local people. Me and Ara also put some rules that whenever we’re in a community of English-speaking people, we have to speak in English. No Bahasa Indonesia, please…!
